Welcome to La Maison Bleue, our family kennel of Golden Retrievers located in the beautiful Outaouais region of Quebec!
Our story begins in 2019, when our family moved into this charming home, which has since been nicknamed “La Maison Bleue”. It was here that we adopted Nala, an affectionate and playful redheaded female Golden Retriever, and Dolce, a patient, affectionate and loyal English Cream Golden Retriever male.
Our dogs are an integral part of our family and are raised with our many children. The children love to play with Nala and Dolce and are actively involved in their education and socialization. We believe this creates a positive home environment for our dogs, which translates into well-balanced, socially-adapted puppies.
In 2022, we welcomed into our family a beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever called Cleo. She is gentle, curious and affectionate. Cleo retired in 2025 and now enjoys a peaceful life with a wonderful, loving family.
On Christmas Day 2023, our beautiful Nala gave us the gift of her final litter. We kept Riley, the puppy identified with the dark blue collar- a loyal, adventurous and playful male. He is an exceptional big brother and plays an essential role in socializing the new babies.
In 2024, Maple gradually took over from Nala within the pack to carry on the Maison Bleue lineage and continue our red-coated line. Maple is an outstanding retriever, full of energy and very people -oriented. She combines her enthusiasm with a well balanced and sociable temperament.
In August 2025, Athena joined the Maison Bleue family to our great joy. Athena is a beautiful young blonde Golden with a gentle, well-balanced temperament. Her presence is calming, her gaze expressive, and her loyalty remarkable.
Our farm is located on 74 acres at the foot of a mountain with a hidden lake. We have a dozen chickens, a rabbit, two cats and two miniature horses to help socialize the puppies. We believe that a stimulating environment is essential for the development and well-being of our puppies.
We are passionate about Golden Retrievers and are committed to raising healthy, socialized puppies with friendly, confident temperaments. We work diligently to ensure that every puppy is placed in a loving, responsible family, where they will receive the love and care they need to lead happy, fulfilling lives.

The Pack
When Nala arrived at our home, we were overjoyed. It is an honor for us to have such an intelligent, wise, and respectful dog. She is affectionate and always ready for a walk in the forest. She loves children and they adore her! She also enjoys playing in her pool. Her favorite game is fetch, a classic! She is always on the lookout for squirrels and loves to chase them
Dolce is by far the happiest dog we know! If you're looking for him, he's probably right next to Nala. They are inseparable! Dolce is a gentle, patient, affectionate, curious, and loyal male. He often comes back to us covered in mud, the rascal! He loves playing in the water. The kids love playing with him. He is Nala's best student. He will welcome you home with a big smile.
Cleo is a dog close to humans who can't have too much attention! She loves children and children love her. Cleo is calm, patient, maternal and oh so loyal. She loves to swim and is always up for an adventure... as long as you go with her!
Riley is a curious, playful and loyal dog! He is the son of Nala and Dolce (dark blue collar from the 2023 Christmas litter) and has inherited the best qualities of both his parents: Nala's energy and courage as well as Dolce's loyalty and sweetness. He is always the first one ready to go for a walk in the mountains! His best friend is Maple, they are inseparable!
Maple is the ultimate Golden Retriever! She is a playful, energetic and protective dog. She is always up for an adventure, especially if she is accompanied by her best friend, Riley. Maple loves to play "fetch" with balls, frisbies, sticks... in short, anything she can bring back! She loves children and declares herself their bodyguard.
Athena is a magnificent golden=blond dog with a gentle, tender gaze. Affectionate and loyal, she loves being close to the ones she loves, always ready for a cuddle or a moment of sweetness. Calm, kind and full of sensitivity, Athena brings a comforting and warm presence wherever she goes. She is a dog with a heart of gold, just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
