About
Welcome to La Maison Bleue, our family-run Golden Retriever breeding program located in the beautiful Outaouais region of Quebec. Our adventure began in 2019 when our family moved into this charming house that would quickly earn the nickname La Maison Bleue. It was here that our passion for the Golden Retriever was born—a breed known for its gentleness, intelligence, and deep devotion to its family.
Our first companions were Nala, a loving and playful red Golden Retriever, and Dolce, a magnificent male English Cream Golden Retriever who is patient, loyal, and incredibly gentle. Very quickly, they became full members of our family.
At Christmas 2023, Nala and Dolce welcomed their final litter. Among the puppies, we chose to keep Riley, the male wearing the dark blue collar. Loyal, curious, and playful, he has grown into a caring big brother and now plays a valuable role in helping socialize our new puppies.
In 2024, Maple joined our family. An excellent retriever with plenty of energy, she has an enthusiastic yet well-balanced temperament. In 2026, she will gently take over from Nala and become a mother herself.
Our canine family then grew with the arrival of Athena, a blonde Golden Retriever with a gentle and calming temperament, as well as Apollo, a young Golden Retriever who is sensitive and observant. More recently, Dali, a female field-line Golden Retriever, joined our breeding program, bringing her intelligence, liveliness, and remarkable sense of smell.
Hudson then joined our family, coming from far away to become part of our wonderful crew. He is a happy, curious, incredibly sweet, and absolutely adorable boy who quickly found his place among us. Denver, our field-line male, brings a wonderful dose of energy and enthusiasm to our canine family. Always ready to move and explore, he certainly has plenty of personality!
Azalée, our little go-getter, is a bundle of determination. Confident, lively, and full of personality, she knows what she wants and moves forward with confidence. And then there is our youngest, Haylee. A little more timid at first, she is gradually gaining confidence and coming out of her shell more and more. Her gentle and affectionate nature makes her simply charming.
Our dogs grow up at the heart of our daily lives, surrounded by our children. They also live in a lively environment where they interact with about ten chickens, two cats, and two miniature horses, contributing to rich and natural socialization. At La Maison Bleue, our goal is to raise healthy Golden Retrievers that are well socialized and have a gentle, balanced temperament—ready to bring happiness and companionship to their future families.

The Pack
Athena is a magnificent golden blond dog with a gentle, tender gaze. Affectionate and loyal, she loves being close to the ones she loves, always ready for a cuddle or a moment of sweetness. Calm, kind and full of sensitivity, Athena brings a comforting and warm presence wherever she goes. She is a dog with a heart of gold, just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
Dali is a young female field-line Golden Retriever who stands out for her attentive gaze and great sensitivity. Observant, she shows a strong ability to focus and a genuine eagerness to learn. Athletic and lively, she has the intelligence, instinct, and motivation typical of working Goldens, while still maintaining a gentle and well-balanced temperament.
Apollo never goes unnoticed: wherever he goes, he attracts attention with his presence and energy. Curious and enthusiastic, he brings a lot of life and excitement wherever he is. With his qualities and temperament, Apollo also promises to become a remarkable sire for La Maison Bleue.
Denver, a Field-type Golden Retriever with an exceptional temperament. Gentle and sociable with both children and adults, he is very intelligent and quickly understands instructions. An affectionate, energetic companion who is deeply devoted to his family.
Hudson, a big snow-white boy with a natural elegance that immediately catches the eye. Without a mischievous bone in his body, he is lively, curious, and always ready to get moving. A little clumsy at times, which only makes him more endearing. He has that effortlessly chic quality, without even knowing it, and a natural charm that makes him a true charmer.
Azalée is a bold, curious little girl who is bursting with enthusiasm. She’s not afraid of anything—not even the biggest dogs—and she’s often the one to take the lead and start the fun. Food-loving, lively, and always up for an adventure, she’s a true little ball of energy. With her contagious enthusiasm, she draws everyone into her adventures and brings a wonderful dose of joy wherever she goes.
Haylee is sweetness personified. Reserved and delicate, she takes her time observing her surroundings before approaching, always at her own pace. Calm and discreet, she has a soothing presence that brings comfort and warmth. With her naturally gentle nature, Haylee has a way of quietly capturing everyone’s heart.
Our Retired Dogs
At La Maison Bleue, our dogs are first and foremost members of our family. When they retire from breeding, they continue to live with us or with new families and fully enjoy a peaceful life surrounded by love and care. These dogs have helped build the foundation of our breeding program and will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

When Nala arrived at our home, we were overjoyed. It is an honor for us to have such an intelligent, wise, and respectful dog. She is affectionate and always ready for a walk in the forest. She loves children and they adore her! She also enjoys playing in her pool. Her favorite game is fetch, a classic! She is always on the lookout for squirrels and loves to chase them
Dolce is by far the happiest dog we know! If you're looking for him, he's probably right next to Nala. They are inseparable! Dolce is a gentle, patient, affectionate, curious, and loyal male. He often comes back to us covered in mud, the rascal! He loves playing in the water. The kids love playing with him. He is Nala's best student. He will welcome you home with a big smile.
Maple is the ultimate Golden Retriever! She is a playful, energetic and protective dog. She is always up for an adventure, especially if she is accompanied by her best friend, Riley. Maple loves to play "fetch" with balls, frisbies, sticks... in short, anything she can bring back! She loves children and declares herself their bodyguard.
Cleo is a dog close to humans who can't have too much attention! She loves children and children love her. Cleo is calm, patient, maternal and oh so loyal. She loves to swim and is always up for an adventure... as long as you go with her!
